✎ Acting for and advising a leading international tobacco grower in a complex and large- scale redundancy exercise touching on over 7,000 multi-level employees including directors, managers, unionised employees, permanent employees, contractual and casual employees who were declared redundant including litigation support at the Employment & Labour Relations Court and the Court of Appeal.
✎ Successfully defending Alliance One Tobacco (Kenya) Limited in a complex multi-layered employment claims instituted by former employees and a Union. In the claim, we successfully argued the dismissal or abandonment of an application for security for costs worth Kshs. 150 million by the former employees and the Union. In the final decision, we were partially successful in dismissing several claims.

✎ Acting for one of the world’s top European infrastructure and construction companies in a protracted employment dispute filed former employee for wrongful and unfair termination, claim for allowances, discrimination and breach of right to fair labour practice.
