Public Private Partnerships (PPPs)

Advising the Public Private Partnerships Unit of the Kenyan National Treasury, as part of the Genesis Analytics Pty-led consortium, on the development, operation and maintenance of students’ hostels for five public universities (Egerton University, Moi University, South Eastern Kenya University, Embu University and Kenya Technical Trainers College) under a public private partnership (PPP) model to be undertaken by five public universities across Kenya.

Advising Kenya Railways as part of the consortium led by Dar Al – Handasah Consultants in developing a commuter rail master plan for the Nairobi Metropolitan.

Advising China Water and Electricity Company in its intended development of a 20-year wind power project in Marsabit County, Kenya expected to produce approximately 300MW of wind power and modelled as a public private partnership with the County Government of Marsabit.

Advising the Privatisation Commission in the proposed privatisation of five public sugar companies in Kenya, namely Chemilil Sugar Company Limited, Muhoroni Sugar Company (1989) Limited (in receivership), South Nyanza Sugar Company Limited, Miwani Sugar Company Limited and Nzoia Sugar Company Limited.
