Debt collection is part and parcel of routine business operations. At MWC Legal, we are well equipped to assist our Clients to collect bad debts with professionalism, integrity, and sensitivity to ensure that the commercial relationship between our Clients and debtors is maintained.

✎Assisting Sybyl Kenya Limited in a contractual dispute for the recovery of payment for services rendered to Metropol Credit Reference Bureau. We are currently assisting the Client in negotiating a settlement plan amounting to USD.102,085 with the debtor.

✎Assisting Sybyl Kenya Limited in a contractual dispute for the recovery of payment for services rendered to Rural Electrification Authority. We successfully recovered the outstanding amount of KES.7.4 million.

✎Advising Kisima Management Company Limited, an affiliate of the Janus Continental Group, in relation to collecting the loan of USD. 1.8 million which was advanced to Bukeri Holdings Limited and reviewing the loan agreement and the charge.

✎Acting for and advising Radisson Blu Hotel Limited in various debt collection matters for services rendered.

✎Acting for OLA Energy Kenya Limited in debt recovery proceedings against Sparetech Trading Company Limited for an outstanding amount of KES. 11 million.

✎Acting for The Well Hung Butcher Limited, a reputable butchery in Nairobi, in the recovery of outstanding and unpaid invoices by The Norfolk Hotel for the supply of meat cuts amounting to KES. 483,650.

✎Acting for OLA Energy Kenya Limited in debt recovery proceedings against Trailink Group Limited for an outstanding amount of KES. 23 million.

✎Acting for Hatima Limited, an affiliate of the Janus Continental Group, in proceedings before the Advocates Disciplinary Tribunal and the High Court against their former legal counsel for the recovery of KES.17 million.

✎Acting for Dalbit Petroleum Limited, an affiliate of the Janus Continental Group, in proceedings before the Advocates Disciplinary Tribunal and the Chief Magistrate’s Court against their former legal counsel for the recovery of KES.3.8 million.
