✎ Advising a leading non-profit organization incomprehensively reviewing their employment policy and employment contracts.

✎ Advising a leading paper board manufacturerin overhauling its employment policies, employment contracts and company organogram, employment policies and employment contracts.

✎ Advising a leading paper board manufacturerin drafting and implementing a voluntary early retirement program, company restructuring and redundancies.

✎ Advising Radisson Blu, Nairobi in relation to various employment matters.

✎ Advising Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited in relation to employment law issues.

✎ Acting for and advising a leading international tobacco grower in a complex and large scale redundancy exercise touching on over 7,000 multi level employees including directors, managers, unionised employees, permanent employees, contractual and casual employees who were declared redundant including litigation support at the Employment & Labour Relations Court and the Court of Appeal.

✎ Successfully defending Alliance One Tobacco (Kenya) Limited in a complex multilayered employment claims institutedby former employees and a Union. In the claim, we successfully argued the dismissal or abandonment of an application for security for costs worth Kshs. 150 million by the former employees and the Union. In the final decision, we were partially successful in dismissing several claims.

✎ Acting for one of the world’s top European infrastructure and construction companies in a protracted employment dispute filed former employee for wrongful and unfair termination, claim for allowances, discrimination and breach of right to fair labour practice.

✎ Advising Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited in relation to employment law issues.

✎ Advising Kenya Grange Vehicle Industries Limited in relation to the takeover of its motorvehicle assembly business by an international car assembly company including engaging inmultifaceted negotiations with relevant unionofficials and employees on the impendingredundancy of all of Kenya Grange’s employees.

✎ Acting for and advising clients in collective bargaining and related negotiations with Unions.

✎ Advising various clients on employment compliance including review of their employment contracts, staff manuals andhandbooks.

✎ Advising various clients on the disciplinary process leading to termination of employment or mutual separation or settlement agreements.

✎ Acting for individual clients in unfair termination and constitutional claims againsttheir former employers at the Employment and Labour Relations Court.

✎ Acting for Fastjet Airlines Kenya Limited in a complex employment claim instituted by an employee.
