✎Advising and acting for responsibility Africa Limited, an international asset manager, in relation to a mutual separation agreement between the client and a managing director.

✎Advising East African Packaging Limited, a leading packaging manufacturer and a subsidiary of the Canadian Overseas Packaging, in overhauling its employment policies, employment contracts and company organogram, employment policies, and employment contracts.

✎Acting for and advising ABC Insurance Brokers Limited, a subsidiary of the African Banking Corporation Limited, in relation to a matter filed at the Employment and Labour Relations Court by its former General Manager seeking damages of KES. 44 million for alleged constructive dismissal, unfair termination, discrimination, and harassment.

✎Acting for and advising Bean Interactive Limited, a leading digital agency, in relation to a claim for alleged unfair termination and discrimination by a former employee.

✎Acting for and advising Sybyl Kenya Limited in relation to an alleged claim for unpaid incentives amounting to USD.669,075 made by a former employee.

✎Advising East African Packaging Industries Limited in implementing a voluntary early retirement program, company restructuring and redundancies.

✎Advising Sokowatch Limited, a leading regional e-commerce company, in relation to several employment matters including drafting and reviewing their employment policies and contracts.

✎Acting for and advising Don Woods Company Limited, an infrastructure and real estate company, in an employment claim for unfair termination.

✎Acting for and advising Harriet Mwihaki Muchiri, an individual client, in relation to the unfair termination by her former employer, Crescent Tech Limited.

✎Acting for and advising OLA Energy Kenya Limited in relation to an alleged unfair termination claim raised by a former employee.

✎Advising a client in relation to the unfair termination of her employment contract by her employer, St. Andrew’s Turi, a leading international school in Kenya.

✎Advising Lake Turkana Wind Power Limited, the largest wind farm in Africa, in relation to employment law issues.

✎Acting for and advising a leading international tobacco grower in a complex and large scale redundancy exercise touching on over 7,000 multi-level employees including directors, managers, unionised employees, permanent employees, contractual and casual employees who were declared redundant including litigation support at the Employment & Labour Relations Court and the Court of Appeal.

✎Successfully defending Alliance One Tobacco (Kenya) Limited in a complex multi-layered employment claims instituted by former employees and a Union. In the claim, we successfully argued the dismissal or abandonment of an application for security for costs worth KES. 150 million by the former employees and the Union.

✎Acting for one of the world’s top European infrastructure and construction companies in a protracted employment dispute filed former employee for wrongful and unfair termination, claim for allowances, discrimination, and breach of right to fair labour practice.

✎Advising Kenya Grange Vehicle Industries Limited in relation to the takeover of its motor vehicle assembly business by an international car assembly company including engaging in multifaceted negotiations with relevant union officials and employees on the impending redundancy of all of Kenya Grange’s employees.

✎Acting for Fastjet Airlines Kenya Limited in a complex employment claim instituted by an employee.

✎Acting for and advising various clients in collective bargaining and related negotiations with Unions.

✎Advising various clients on employment compliance including review of their employment contracts, staff manuals and handbooks.

✎Advising various clients on the disciplinary process leading to termination of employment or mutual separation or settlement agreements.

✎Acting for individual clients in unfair termination and constitutional claims against their former employers at the Employment and Labour Relations Court.

✎Acting for a client in an unfair termination claim against the Kenya Railways Corporation.

✎Acting for an individual client in an unfair termination claim against her by a former house help.
