Steven Waweru

Steven holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi (UoN) and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Elizabeth Wangari & Co Advocates in Nakuru and undertook his pupillage at MMC Asafo. He joined MWC Legal in December 2022 as an associate in the firm.

Joan Gakure

Joan obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Riara University in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Onyango & Tarus Advocates where she undertook her pupillage .After being admitted to the bar in February 2020, she joined Planning Systems Services as an in-house legal counsel. She joined the Firm as an Associate Advocate in November 2022. She is currently a Principal Associate in the Firm.

Liza Mutungi

Liza is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi. She is an Associate at MWC Legal focusing on Real Estate, Banking and Finance. She commenced her Legal career in 2021 at Mwenda Kaumbuthu & Co. Advocates. Prior to transitioning into Legal practice, Liza excelled as a Cabin Supervisor with Emirates Airline where she honed exceptional skills in customer service and Management. This blend of legal expertise and high-level customer interaction underscores Liza’s comprehensive approach to client focused legal solutions.

Joy obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Strathmore University in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Bowmans Kenya. She joined MWC Legal in September 2023 as an associate in the firm.

Moses Ogutu

He joined the firm in April 2022. Moses holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) having graduated in 2020. Before joining the firm, he worked at CREAW and Ongoya and Wambola Advocates.
